Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PCA?

A PCA (Personal Care Attendant) provides assistance in daily activities to the disabled.  These activities often include daily chores like cooking, cleaning, laundry, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility.

Who pays for PCA services?

The majority of people qualify for PCA services through Minnesota Medical Assistance and pay nothing.

Can I pick my own PCA?

With King of Kings, Yes!  We’ve found that most people prefer to have a friend or relative be their PCA.  We can make that happen!  In other words, we can pay your friend or relative to help you out at home!

How can I qualify for PCA services?

First, contact us at King of Kings.  We will walk you through the process and determine for which services you are qualified. The vast majority of people that receive PCA services do so through Minnesota Medical Assistance.  We can help you sign up.
